Carolina is an interdisciplinary artist with a background in sculpture, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is currently in her final semester of undergraduate study and will receive her BFA in Sculpture from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University in May. Her work engages research as both method and material, tracing entanglements between reproductive labor, ecological extraction, and material ethics. Davidson examines how late-stage capitalism organizes our relations to bodies, land, and time, while seeking to understand her own relationship to place and matter. Much of her work probes through questions of time, seeking out the sites and instances where geological and cosmological timescales rub against the human.
