Hand-in-Hand Outreach Program

CFEVA began bringing art-making opportunities to at-risk populations as early as 1992, making us among the first in our sector to address the nationwide decline of arts education in schools, public sector youth services, and after-school programs.. Today, our Hand-in-Hand Outreach Program brings professional visual artists together with more than 750 children in crisis each year for meaningful arts engagement, free of charge. By partnering with local homeless shelters, transitional housing facilities, and social service agencies, CFEVA provides a well-rounded, flexible arts curriculum that empowers youth to positively express themselves through art.
