Ari Zuaro is a multi-media artist whose work explores the complexities of existing as a part of the Chinese diaspora as an adoptee; a remnant of the One Child Policy. Through ceramic sculpture assemblage and found objects, Ari’s work engages in dreaming and constructing new ways of being. Based in Philadelphia they are currently pursuing an MFA at Tyler School of Art and Architecture and received their BA in Religion and Studio Art from Carleton College. Ari is interested in questions of connection and belonging. Their work continues to address race, trans-national experiences and dislocation.
