Mark your calendars: The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA) is thrilled to present the 2025 Philadelphia Open Studio Tours (POST), made possible by PNC Arts Alive. POST is Philadelphia’s premier fall visual arts festival, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the city’s creative community. Visitors are invited to explore artists’ studios and workspaces across the city, experiencing the processes behind painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, mixed media, metalworking, and more.
This citywide celebration features self-guided tours as well as a wide range of activities: hands-on workshops, gallery exhibitions, live demonstrations, artist talks, receptions, and special events. Beloved by audiences of all ages, POST is recognized as the region’s most comprehensive studio tour—bringing the public closer than ever to the artists shaping Philadelphia’s vibrant cultural landscape.

As a program of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA), POST creates substantive promotional opportunities for Philadelphia artists, increases awareness of the quality and quantity of visual art in our city, and strengthens bonds among artists, local businesses, arts organizations, and the public. CFEVA dedicates itself to making art careers viable for those who choose them, helping emerging artists reach their audiences and promoting interest and understanding of emerging visual art among citizens of the community. Formerly Creative Artists Network, CFEVA was founded in 1983 to encourage the professional development and community involvement of emerging visual artists. Today, CFEVA’s programming serves more than 400,000 artists and audience members annually. Now entering our fifth decade, we are committed to providing impactful programs to support, equip, and position visual artists as the creative engines that forge Philadelphia’s vibrant cultural identity.
