I intend to sculpt several raised relief ceramic landscape panels based on what I see on site. I plan to bring slabs of clay and sculpting tools to the site. Depending on how quickly this comes together, I call this 'sculpting en plein air.' I have taught classes in this technique with great success. I would like to invite members of the public to add small bits of texture to the work in progress, something I have never tried before. I will also explain what I am doing, answer questions, keep a slab on hand for folks to try, and show some examples of completed work.
