Senior Partnership Initiative
Teaching Artists are provided with an opportunity to advance their teaching credentials, receive a prestigious stipend, and participate in an innovative annual exhibition, all while making a positive impact on our community's senior and student population. For the seniors, the Senior Partnership Initiative offers a vehicle for expression while providing encouragement to remain involved and active in their communities, thereby, combating isolation and loneliness. The student participants are exposed to high-quality art making while interacting with seniors, helping to develop a healthy, respectful intergenerational relationships.
